1. One Account Per Person
- Each person is allowed exactly one account. Duplicate accounts are prohibited regardless of device or email address.
- Creating additional accounts to exploit referral bonuses, bypass bans, or inflate zone rankings is a permanent ban offense.
- Account sharing with other people is not permitted. Your account is your identity in the territory.
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
2. No Location Spoofing
- GPS spoofing, VPN-based location manipulation, or any technique used to fake your physical location is strictly prohibited.
- Your zone assignment must reflect your real, physical location. Claiming territory you don't actually occupy undermines the entire system.
- We use device fingerprinting, IP validation, and behavioral analysis to detect location fraud. Detection is automatic and ongoing.
- Zone changes are limited to once every 24 hours. Repeated or suspicious zone shifts trigger review.
- Players detected spoofing their location will be permanently banned without appeal.
3. No Bots or Automation
- Automated scripts, bots, headless browsers, or any tooling designed to perform game actions (claims, boosts, logins) without human interaction are strictly prohibited.
- Rate limits are enforced server-side. Attempting to circumvent them is prohibited and will result in account termination.
- Exploiting bugs, race conditions, or API vulnerabilities to gain unfair Reputation is prohibited. If you discover a vulnerability, report it to hello@topdoginmyhood.com — we take responsible disclosure seriously.
- Reverse-engineering the API for automation purposes is not permitted under any circumstances.
4. Fair Play & Referrals
- Referral bonuses are for genuine new players — people who will actually play the game. Synthetic referrals (fake accounts, throwaway sign-ins) are detected and removed.
- New accounts go through a 48-hour probation period before their Reputation and zone presence are visible on rankings. This prevents flash-mob account abuse.
- Any collusion between players to artificially inflate zone rankings, share accounts for coordinated claiming, or coordinate referral fraud will result in bans for all parties involved.
- Display names must be appropriate for all audiences. No slurs, hate speech, impersonation of real individuals, or names designed to offend or harass.
5. Respect & Community
- Do not harass, threaten, or attempt to intimidate other players — on this platform or elsewhere in connection with this game.
- Any communication associated with Top Dog In My Hood (including community spaces, if created) must remain respectful and legal.
- Doxxing, sharing private information about other players, or using zone data to physically locate individuals is a severe violation and may be reported to law enforcement.
6. Enforcement
- Rule violations may result in Reputation reductions, temporary account suspension, permanent bans, or removal from zone rankings — at GlitchPls Studio's sole discretion.
- Enforcement decisions are based on server-side data, behavioral patterns, and manual review. We do not rely solely on reports.
- GlitchPls Studio reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate any account at any time for violation of these rules.
- Decisions are final. You may appeal by emailing hello@topdoginmyhood.com — include your display name and a clear description of your case. Appeals that include threats will be dismissed.
7. Privacy & Data
We collect your Google profile (display name, email address, avatar URL) to create and identify your account. We do not collect or store raw GPS coordinates — location is used only to compute your zone assignment server-side, and only an approximate grid position is retained.
Gameplay data (Reputation, tier, zone, referrals, weekly titles) is stored on our servers and portions of it — specifically your display name, tier, and zone label — are displayed publicly on leaderboards and zone rankings. Your email address is never made public.
We do not sell, license, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or commercial purposes. We do not use your location data outside of zone computation.
To request account deletion, email hello@topdoginmyhood.com. Your account and all associated data will be deleted within 14 days.
8. Changes to These Rules
These rules may be updated at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify active players of significant changes. Continued use of Top Dog In My Hood after any changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated rules.
