Scoring & REP
REP (reputation) is the score that decides the match. The dog with the most REP when the clock hits zero is the Top Dog of the hood.
Marking posts
The main way to earn REP is to mark posts and landmarks. Get close, start your mark, and you steadily accumulate REP while you hold it. Marking takes a short channel time, so you're vulnerable while you do it — pick your moments.
- Standard marking earns a steady REP rate per second.
- Premium / contested landmarks reward a higher REP rate.
- Getting interrupted (knocked out or stunned) cancels the mark.
Holding and stealing turf
Posts can be re-marked by rivals, so a lead is never safe. Defend valuable landmarks, and don't be afraid to push into enemy turf to flip a post late in the match when it matters most.
Combat and REP
Combat doesn't directly score REP, but it's how you create space: bark to stun a marker, bite to chip rivals, or tackle to knock them off a post. Knocking an opponent out briefly removes them from the board, freeing up landmarks.
End of match
When the ~6-minute timer ends, a results screen shows the final REP standings and any awards. Highest REP wins.
Tip: balance offence and marking. Pure fighting wins fights but not matches — REP wins matches.
